As part of this growth we are recruiting Advanced Practice Providers to care for patients with bleeding disorders as part of our multidisciplinary program at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center. Excellent opportunity for a dynamicPhysician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with Hematology experience. Qualified candidate is required to be board certified and is expected to provide compassionate, evidence-based and multidisciplinary care to patients with hematologic disorders. Experience preferred, however new graduate candidates with strong hematology backgrounds will be considered. Our APPis expected to be an active member of the Division and participate in clinical, research, and education services provided by Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center ( BMDACC ) for patients with bleeding disorders throughout our clinic network. The APP will have a primary clinical focus within the Bleeding Disorders Clinic, providing comprehensive longitudinal care for patients with inherited and acquired bleeding disorders. Responsibilities include evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and longitudinal management of patients with conditions such as hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, platelet function disorders, and other coagulopathies. To support clinical operations and patient access, the APP will also see patients with classical (nonmalignant) hematologic disorders as needed based on clinic volumes and departmental demand. + Experience inHematology Oncology preferred + M - F | 4 10s | 7a - 6p | No Call | Occasional Telehealth Requirement Banner Health, a Top 10 Health System for clinical performance according to Thomson Reuters, has teamed up with the MD Anderson Cancer Center, repeatedly ranked number one by U.S. News and World Report in cancer care, to open the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center.
