WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEDIATRIC DENTAL
STARS.... Job Summary We are currently seeking dedicated professionals to fill multiple open positions within our dental care team, including Hygienist, EFDA's Dental Assistant, and Patient Support Center roles. Each position plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered dental services in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to excellence, possess relevant technical skills, and have a passion for improving patient health and comfort. All roles are paid positions, including internships, emphasizing our commitment to professional development and team growth. Duties Hygienists will perform thorough dental cleanings, take X-rays, assess oral health status, and provide patient education on oral hygiene practices. EFDA's will perform tasks such as placing and finishing dental restorations (like fillings), taking impressions, applying sealants, and other advanced procedures that go beyond basic dental assisting duties Dental Assistants will support clinical operations by preparing treatment rooms, assisting with chairside procedures such as four-handed dentistry, managing sterilization protocols with aseptic techniques, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Patient Support Center staff will handle appointment scheduling, manage medical records and coding, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and provide exceptional customer service to patients. All roles require proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records). Maintaining infection control standards and ensuring the safety of both patients and staff are integral responsibilities across all positions. Collaborate effectively within the team using knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, pediatric dentistry principles, prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry procedures. Engage in ongoing training related to medical imaging, vital signs measurement, medical documentation, and medical coding practices relevant to dental care. Requirements Prior experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred; familiarity with dental assisting or hygiene duties is essential. Knowledge of Open Dental. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols to safeguard patient confidentiality and safety. Certification or training in X-ray techniques and pediatric dentistry is desirable for supporting diverse patient needs. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients of all ages. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy relevant to oral health is necessary for effective documentation and patient interaction. Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining aseptic technique during procedures. Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment with a focus on teamwork and continuous learning in areas such as endodontics and prosthodontics.
