Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while accurately processing their transactions. This position requires strong math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions
• Scan items, ensure pricing accuracy, and process payments
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
• Upsell additional items or promotions to increase sales
• Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed
• Use Aloha POS system to process orders and track inventory
• Follow proper cash handling procedures and reconcile cash register at the end of each shift
• Sanitize work areas and equipment to maintain cleanliness standards

Skills:

• Excellent math skills for accurate cash handling and calculating change
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide friendly and helpful assistance
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell products or promotions
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus
• Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software is preferred
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail for scanning items accurately and ensuring pricing accuracy Opening cashiers hours are typically 5-12, but am flexible.
