The primary duties of a lifeguard include, but are not limited to: Being a fit and strong enough swimmer to prevent drowning of another individual Keeping patrons of the pool safe and enforcing facility rules and regulations Maintaining order in swimming areas Inspect facilities for cleanliness Test chemical levels and temperature Lifeguards pay rate ranges from $15.50 an hour to $18

Qualifications:

All lifeguards must be American Red Cross, Lifeguard certified. To be a swim instructor you must be American Red Cross WSI certified. We also offer lifeguard courses to obtain these certifications
