We merge with the AdventHealth network but operate as an independent entity, providing our staff with a close-knit team culture and unique financial incentives. The Role We are seeking a reliable Scrub Technician to support our surgical teams across a wide range of specialties, including Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, GYN, GI, General Surgery, and Podiatry . You will be responsible for maintaining the sterile field and anticipating the needs of our surgeons to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.

Requirements Certification:

MUST HAVE

a Certificate in Surgical Technology from an accredited program.

Experience:

MUST HAVE

prior Operating Room experience (ASC experience preferred).

Skills:

Expert knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and room turnover.

Certification:

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Key Responsibilities Surgical Support:

Function as the primary scrub person, passing instruments and supplies with precision and anticipating surgeon needs.

Sterile Field Management:

Maintain and monitor the sterile field to the highest aseptic standards.

TurnoverPrep:

Efficiently set up for cases using physician preference cards and assist in rapid room turnover.

Safety:

Conduct meticulous counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments with the circulator and participate in all "time-out" protocols.
