) Basic Life Support Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Experience (REQUIRED) TBD (pending solicitation) Typically requires 2+ years of Operating Room experience Responsibilities Prepare the operating room by ensuring all sterile supplies, equipment, and instruments are ready for scheduled surgeries. Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and monitoring patient vitals. Conduct thorough preoperative assessments, including reviewing patient history and verifying consent forms. Monitor patients' vital signs throughout surgery, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies. Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control protocols to prevent contamination. Document all aspects of patient care accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Provide postoperative care instructions and support patient recovery in the immediate postoperative period.
