Qualifications & Experience:

Valid and current RN license Minimum of one year recent experience as an OR Nurse Proven proficiency with circulating and/or scrubbing duties in a fast-paced Operating Room setting Current BLS and ACLS certifications Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to function well within multidisciplinary teams and adapt to changing situations Strong attention to surgical asepsis, sterile techniques, and patient advocacy

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain the sterile field before and during surgical procedures Assist the surgical team as both a circulating and scrub nurse as needed Monitor and document the patient's condition and surgical activity throughout perioperative phases Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Ensure instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and sterile Provide education and reassurance to patients and their families before and after procedures Uphold the highest standards for infection control and patient safety This contract assignment delivers the opportunity to expand your operating room knowledge and make a positive impact on patient care.
