Job Description:
Operational Excellence Engineer Logan, UT (100% On-Site) Competitive Relocation Bonus + Full Relocation Package We are seeking an Operational Excellence Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role focuses on improving plant performance by reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and standardizing processes using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. What You'll Do Lead Lean / Six Sigma (DMAIC) projects to improve cost, quality, and efficiency Identify process gaps and drive solutions to reduce waste and variation Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Train and coach plant teams on continuous improvement tools Analyze plant KPIs and drive data-based decision making Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering Support process standardization and compliance in a regulated environment Requirements (Must-Have) 3+ years of experience in manufacturing / plant environment Proven experience leading process improvement / continuous improvement projects Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC methodologies ASQ Green Belt Certification (required) Experience with root cause analysis, Kaizen, and process standardization Ability to analyze data and drive measurable improvements (cost, quality, efficiency) Experience in a regulated environment (FDA, USDA, GMP, or similar) Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills Proficiency with Excel and/or Minitab for data analysis Preferred Qualifications ASQ Black Belt Certification Experience in food, beverage, pharma, or other regulated manufacturing Experience with high-volume, continuous process environments Familiarity with 5S, SMED, Standard Work, and Change Management Experience training or coaching teams on Lean principles
