Position Overview KCC is seeking an organized and dependable Operations Assistant to serve as the logistical backbone of daily school life. This role supports the smooth day-to-day functioning of the campus by managing key operational systems, including the lunch program, supply ordering and inventory, and event logistics. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and servant-hearted, with a desire to support students, faculty, and staff. This role plays a key part in ensuring classrooms are stocked, students are served, and school events run smoothly behind the scenes. Primary Responsibilities Lunch Program Management Manage the full K-12 lunch program, including menu planning, ordering, communication, and reporting Coordinate with food vendors and oversee weekly ordering and delivery logistics Manage family communication, ordering systems, and payment tracking Prepare and distribute reports and materials for daily lunch service Maintain inventory of lunch supplies and ensure compliance with health requirements Campus & Supply Operations Manage ordering and fulfillment of teacher and campus supply needs Maintain inventory and stocking of staff lounge, aftercare, and other key areas Serve as point of contact for copier maintenance and supply needs Manage lost and found, including periodic communication and donation of unclaimed items Support front desk operations as needed Event Logistics Support Coordinate setup, materials, and vendor logistics for school events Submit setup requests and coordinate with Facilities Ensure readiness for events, including materials, supplies, and space setup Provide hands-on logistical support for events as directed Qualifications Highly reliable and dependable with strong follow-through Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Self-starter who takes initiative and anticipates needs Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support others Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Servant-hearted, with a desire to support the school community Compensation & Benefits 10-month, hourly (non-exempt) position Occasional summer hours may be requested as needed to support back-to-school preparation Compensation based on experience This position is not eligible for benefits
