Job Description

Operations Coordinator (Shop-Based) Full-Time | Monday-Friday (6:00 AM-3:00 PM or 7:00 AM-4:00 PM) We're looking for a highly organized, get-it-done Operations Coordinator to be the backbone of our daily operations. This role is the go-to support for our foremen, drivers, and mechanics—keeping crews moving, equipment ready, and jobs running smoothly. If you thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and take pride in keeping things dialed in behind the scenes, this role is for you. What You'll Do You'll be the hub that keeps everything connected—people, equipment, and information. Daily Operations Build and coordinate daily schedules for crews, equipment, tools, and trucking Support field teams with jobsite info, suppliers, disposal locations, and documentation Order and maintain inventory of tools, materials, and shop supplies Track equipment, manage maintenance records, and coordinate repairs Monitor GPS equipment locations and ensure accountability Review and process timecards and operational documentation Keep shop, yard, and filing systems organized and up to date Ensure trucks, permits, licenses, and insurance records are current Safety & Compliance Support and maintain company safety programs and inspections Run weekly safety meetings for shop and drivers Track certifications, inspections, and safety equipment readiness Ensure compliance with DOT, permits, and equipment standards Shop & Yard Support Keep tools, equipment, and supplies stocked and organized Monitor fuel systems and deliveries Audit equipment and tool locations regularly What You Bring Strong organizational skills—you can juggle a lot without dropping the ball Clear communication and a team-first attitude Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); HCSS is a plus Ability to problem-solve and keep things moving without constant direction Comfortable working both in an office and outdoor/shop environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be physically active throughout the day Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug screening What Makes You a Great Fit You're dependable and follow through—no loose ends You take pride in keeping things clean, organized, and efficient You're the person others rely on when they need answers or support You can handle pressure and shifting priorities without losing focus Why This Role Matters This position is critical to keeping our operations running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
