$22-$24.50 per hour DOE Benefits & 401(k)Eligible Schedule:
Monday - Friday (8am-5pm) On-site in Kennewick, WA office The Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day administrative operations in a construction-focused, paving and striping environment. This role serves as a central point of communication and coordination between office staff, field teams, and external vendors. The Operations Coordinator handles scheduling, document management, and office organization while supporting project teams and maintaining a professional and productive office environment.Requirements:
Coordinate daily office operations, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff Serve as a liaison between office staff, field teams, vendors, and clients to facilitate communication and resolve inquiries Manage and organize project documentation, permits, contracts, and records to ensure accessibility and compliance Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment, addressing any maintenance or restocking needs Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as invoice tracking, expense reporting, and payroll support Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed Support the implementation of office policies, procedures, and safety standards Track project deadlines and milestones to ensure timely completion of administrative deliverables Assist in onboarding new employees by coordinating training materials and maintaining personnel records Perform general office duties, such as answering phones, handling mail, and maintaining a professional workspaceExperience Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably in the construction industry Familiarity with construction documentation, terminology, and processes is highly desirable Experience with ERP or construction-specific software systems preferredSkills Required:
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Attention to detail and accuracy in managing records and documentation Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teamsEducation Required:
High school diploma or GED required Valid Drivers License Associate degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferredPhysical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer Occasionally lift and carry office supplies or files weighing up to 15 poundsWork Environment:
