SCHEDULE
9/80 This is a Contingent Workforce Program position Job Description The Maintenance Planner plays a critical role in supporting early operations at Pikka by developing detailed, execution-ready maintenance work packs in a dynamic and evolving environment. As a new asset entering startup, maintenance demand will be variable and often unpredictable, requiring disciplined planning, adaptability, and strong field engagement. This role works closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Scheduling to ensure maintenance work is fully scoped, technically aligned, and resource-ready prior to execution. The Planner will help establish structured planning processes, build standardized job plans, and capture lessons learned as systems stabilize. The position will be based in Anchorage on 9/80 schedule. This opportunity is well suited for a candidate who thrives in early-stage operations and enjoys building systems and processes in a growing asset. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or trade certification preferred Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in oil and gas, industrial, or process facility operations. Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or reliability support roles. Demonstrated experience developing detailed maintenance job plans and work packs in SAP or similar CMMS. Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance processes in a process facility environment. Working knowledge of safety systems, isolation practices, and permit-to-work requirements. Technical Skills Proficient in SAP (or similar CMMS) for work order planning and job pack development. Ability to develop detailed job scopes, materials lists, and labor estimates. Strong understanding of rotating equipment, instrumentation, electrical systems, and process equipment. Ability to interpret P&IDs, equipment drawings, and technical documentation. Working knowledge of maintenance KPIs and continuous improvement principles. Professional Skills Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, startup environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Scheduling, and Supply Chain. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to build credibility and working relationships with field personnel. Preferred Experience Experience supporting early-life or startup operations. Experience in remote or rotational work environments. Experience in oil production, drilling operations, processing facilities, or seawater treatment systems. Familiarity with North Slope operations and logistics.
