Overview The Operations Manager (High Value) will oversee our High Value teammates that consist of both procurement teammates and customer service. This role will be responsible for ensuring we are covering shipments, following our SOPs, communicating updates to customers, and continuing to grow our portfolio of High Value carriers. Ensures the organization complies with all AIT policy and standards. Responsibilities Hire, train, coach, and develop the High Value Operations team to meet company expectations and individual goals; manage underperformance as necessary. Oversee and manage the escalation and resolution of issues related to high value shipments, ensuring timely and effective handling. Strategically develop partnerships with carriers specializing in high value freight; build and maintain a dynamic, compliant carrier network. Collaborate with Account Management and AIT Station Leadership to align with top customers and ensure exceptional service for high value shipments. Drive and manage an effective pipeline of high value carriers; expand portfolio and ensure alignment with customer requirements and risk standards Provides leadership and support to teammates and conducts weekly employee reviews that includes coaching and performance KPIs. Lead and empower direct reports to negotiate offers and provide pricing guidance for high value shipments. Identify and present process enhancements to improve quality, efficiency, and security for high value operations. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards The wage range for this position is $67,070.00-$100,610.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience Qualifications Education

- High School Diploma or GED required. ()
- Some College/Associate's Degree preferred. ()
- Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field highly desirable. () Experience
- 2+ years work experience in operations with direct management of high value shipments or risk-sensitive freight required. ()
- 5+ years work experience in high value freight shipments, carrier sales and customer service required. ()
- 3+ years working in a team management environment required. ()
- 10+ years work experience in quoting, routing, and freight brokerage preferred. () Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to problem solve and make independent decisions High
- Knowledge working with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Teams Medium
- McLeod operating system. High
- Knowledge of "Highway" platform utilized for carrier onboarding and monitoring High
- Knowledge of Risk Management & Compliance in High Value Freight. High
- Must have excellent customer service and leadership skills. High
- Must have negotiation skills and manage a budget.
