Operations Manager Job Duties Lead manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams, collaborating with Safety, Quality, Engineering, and Production Control to align daily work with corporate goals and performance targets. Oversee production departments, providing direction, training, and accountability for supervisors and staff while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, setting goals and allocating resources to improve safety, quality, cost efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance. Manage workforce processes, including hiring, training, performance management, payroll approvals, employee relations, and disciplinary actions to maintain a productive team. Develop employees and leaders, conducting performance reviews, talent discussions, coaching, and career development to build capability and readiness for future roles. Support budgeting and strategic initiatives, including process cost planning, capital/expense budgeting, and contributing to employee relations programs and other assigned responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications 5-7 years related experience High school graduate or equivalent Preferred Qualifications An associate degree in business or engineering along with eight years related experience or four-year college degree, preferably in business administration or engineering, and three to five years prior management experience or seven to ten years of equivalent work experience. Excellent interpersonal skills required with strong emphasis on all areas of communications, listening and speaking.
