  • Full-time Summary Operations Specialists contribute to the overall efforts of the Operations Team through the application of specialized knowledge and skills as well as contribution to all other efforts as directed by their plant manager/supervisor.
This specific position will be in the shipping warehouse where the employee will be picking orders during the day. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
  • Consistently maintains a level of productivity above and beyond other Operations Team Members
  • Delivers punctual and regular attendance. Time away from work is approved and taken in accordance with established policies
  • Performs job duties in a prompt, thorough, and excellent manner
  • Performs duties in a manner that promotes team concept and reflects company Vision, Mission, and Values, in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Works cooperatively with all organization employees, clients, customers, and other persons contacted during the course of performing duties.
  • Freely share knowledge and skill with all team members
  • Shows respect and sensitivity towards all team members
  • Safeguards company property and exercises excellent stewardship principle
  • Consistently demonstrates and incorporates principals of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and risk management for self and others into daily activities

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the company.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
