OBJECTIVE
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the planning, coordination, and supervision of staking, dispatch, new construction, and field crews. This position ensures safe, reliable, and cost-effective design, and support of the Cooperative's electric delivery system in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Cooperative policies. Directly supervises the day-to-day activities of assigned staff to produce maximum results. The Operations Supervisor provides leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to assigned staff, supports long-range system planning, and promotes a culture of safety, accountability, ethical conduct, and excellent service to Midstate Electric Cooperative's member-owners.
Additional Information:
Education & Experience A high school diploma is required. A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or management is preferred. Valid Oregon Driver's License, or ability to obtain. Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in electric utility construction, design and/or dispatch. Must have successfully completed a recognized lineman apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience and be a qualified Journeyman Lineman with demonstrated knowledge of electric distribution and transmission system construction, maintenance, and safe work practices. Experience with SCADA and Outage Management systems. Must be proficient in both systems within one year of employment.
