Operations Technician

Job Title:

Operations Technician Job Description The Operations Technician will be responsible for tissue processing, sample processing and labeling, product assembly, and quality assurance of final product specifications. The role also involves batch number release and medical sample processing. Responsibilities Conduct tissue processing and ensure compliance with clean room standards. Perform sample processing and labeling with precision. Assemble products with attention to detail. Ensure quality assurance of final product specifications. Manage batch number releases accurately. Process medical samples efficiently. Essential Skills Proficiency in tissue processing and clean room operations. Experience with sterile techniques and tissue banking. Ability to perform sterilization and decontamination tasks. Capability to support lab operations and maintain GMP standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a volume environment, preferably in a GMP, GLP, clinical lab, medical lab, or aseptic environment. Tissue/specimen processing experience is highly desirable. Work Environment The role is based in a controlled biomedical manufacturing environment. It requires adherence to aseptic techniques and clean room operational SOPs as per lab safety protocols. The shift is Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10:30pm, with potential for weekend day shifts. The position involves sitting at a workstation, with the option to stand if preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Alachua, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
