Job Description

Life Strategies, LLC is a BCBA-owned and operated behavioral health agency providing effective, compassionate services to our clients. Our mission is to create real, lasting change—and that starts with a strong internal team. We're currently seeking a reliable and proactive Operations Assistant in our Crown Point, IN office. About the
Role:
As the Operations Assistant, you'll be at the intersection of people and process. You'll support key functions like recruiting, onboarding, administrative operations, and day-to-day office coordination. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong organizational skills to the table, and enjoys being a trusted resource to both leadership and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Support recruitment by managing job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews Assist with onboarding, new hire paperwork, and orientation Maintain personnel records and support HR documentation processes Help implement and track performance management steps, including disciplinary documentation Provide general administrative and office support Collaborate with the Operations Director on cross-divisional tasks and special projects Stay organized while juggling shifting priorities in a busy setting
What You Bring:
2-4 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative operations (preferred) High attention to detail and excellent time management skills Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal Dependable, proactive, and solution-oriented Ability to multitask and work independently while staying team-focused Flexible and comfortable navigating change and high-paced environments
Requirements:
Must pass all required background checks Provide three professional references Submit negative TB test and drug screening Provide necessary documentation (resume, valid ID, diplomas, transcripts, etc.)
