Job Description
Function and ResponsibilitiesThese job functions of
ASSOCIATE TEXWRAP
operator will be responsible for supporting other Texwrap Operator and monitoring performance of the operation. This job will be assigned to specific line location of the Texwrap machines.Maintains constant attendance to the Texwrap machines and perform operation.
Maintains constant attendance to the TEXWRAP machines and perform operation.
The Associate TEXWRAP operater has capable to teach other operator with basic TEXWRAP operation to other operators. Train other operator incuded feeder, TEXWRAP and to heat tunnel.
Makes minor machine adjustment, and informs the supervisor and the maintenance department when major repairs are required.
Records all down time due to machine malfunctions and reports them to the Sr. TEXWRAP operator or Lead at the end of the shift or anytime problem occur.
The Associate TEXWRAP operator has cpable to assist infeeder worker.
Communicate with Checker person to see performance of the TEXWRAP. Other ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the production of a quality product that meets all customer and regulatory requirements.
Effectively communicates as required with supervisor.
Assures that the necessary tools, settings and supplies are ready prior to production.
Records and accounts for all materials used on the line for assigned shift.
Assists supervisor in maintaining the work areas in a clean and safe manner.
Adhere to all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), such as good hand washing practices and adhering to the employee hygiene plan. Follow all USDA guidelinesReport any issues regarding food safety or quality to supervision and/or quality assuranceComply with customer requirements when applicableResponsible for upholding, following and maintaining the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing.
Other duties as may be assigned or volunteered for. Skills, Experience & QualificationsGood communications skills, hard working, dependable, safety consciousRead, write English and know basic math. Minimum 6 months of production experience. Able to operate mechanical and electrical machines.
High School Diploma/Equivalent preferred.
Able to make logical decisions. Work standing or walking for long periods of time. Education, Technical Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Proficiency LevelRequiredGood communications skills, hard working, dependable, safety consciousRead, write English and know basic math. Minimum 6 months of production experience. Able to operate mechanical and electrical machines. PreferredHigh School Diploma/Equivalent preferred.
Able to make logical decisions. Food Safety/QualityReport any issues regarding food safety or quality to supervision and/or quality assurance. Report any risks or any evidence of unsafe or out-of-specification product, equipment, packaging or raw materials to a designated manager to enable the resolution of issues requiring immediate attention.
