RESEARCH ROLE

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Perform refractions independently and accurately — this is a core requirement Conduct ophthalmic testing OCT Support clinical research protocols and assist with study data collection Prepare patients for exams and ensure a smooth, comfortable experience Order, track, and organize clinical supplies — keeping the department stocked and ready Maintain and operate diagnostic equipment with precision Document findings accurately in the research systems Collaborate with physicians, and research staff

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Demonstrated ability to perform refractions — required, not preferred Experience as an ophthalmic or optometric technician Organized and proactive — comfortable owning supply management responsibilities Comfort working in a research or clinical trial setting is a strong plus Detail-oriented and able to follow precise clinical protocols Strong interpersonal skills — patients come first, always
