Ophthalmic/Optometric Technician (Career Advancement for Medical Assistants) Fall River, MA 02720 From $17 an hour - Full-time From $17 an hour - Full-time Long term career opportunity. Center for Sight is currently seeking an energetic, friendly, and professional Ophthalmic/Optometric Technician to join our Clinical Team. The Ophthalmic/Optometric Technician team member is responsible for compassionate and respectful patient care in a warm and welcoming manner. Expectations are for superior verbal and written communication skills, with considerable attention to detail.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares patient for the physician's evaluation by obtaining chief complaint, history, documenting medications and performing a variety of screening and diagnostic tests, including but not limited to applanation tonometry.
