Opto Mechanical Engineer IV

Job Description Job description Work in cross‑functional teams with multiple engineering disciplines (optical, mechanical, electrical, firmware, etc.) to design and build experimental opto‑mechanical setups and engineering prototypes. Guidance and direction to be provided by optomechanical engineer(s) and research scientists. Skills CAD (SolidWorks preferred) Mechanical design (drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, kinematics, simulation working knowledge preferred) Assembly work, Optical Alignment and Testing Attributes Self‑starter, motivated, chases down details and follows up and follows through Actively seeks out answers when stuck, doesn't wait on the team Able to work with limited inputs and can handle ambiguity, make decisions General curiosity and willingness to learn Able to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects at once Creative, enjoys design & lab work We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
