Optometric Assistant

We are looking for an Optometric Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to the optometrist in the examination and treatment of patients, as well as providing administrative support. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Optometric Assistant must be able to accurately record patient information and have a thorough understanding of optometric terminology.

Responsibilities:

Assist optometrists in providing patient care. Greet patients and assist them with paperwork. Perform preliminary tests such as visual acuity, color vision, and refraction tests. Schedule appointments and maintain patient records. Assist with contact lens fittings and dispensing of eyeglasses. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
