Job Type:

Full-Time Busy, patient-focused optometry practice in Riverdale, NJ is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to support our clinical team and deliver an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for exams and obtain medical/ocular histories Perform pre-testing (visual acuity, auto-refraction, tonometry, OCT, visual fields, etc.) Assist the doctor during eye examinations Accurately document findings in EHR system Maintain clean and organized exam rooms Provide patient education as directed by the doctor

Qualifications:

Experience as an Optometric Technician or in a healthcare setting preferred Knowledge of basic eye exam equipment and procedures Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Experience with EHR systems preferred Competitive hourly pay ($17.00•20.00) based on experience.
