OPTOMETRIC TECHNICIAN

position with us. Patient pre-testing , post-testing, optos (retinal imaging), visual field, topography, OCT / High quality patient care Explain to the patient the types of preliminary exam testing / Able to give instruction in a clear and concise manner Understand ocular terminology and diseases and know the ocular abbreviations Ensure equipment, both Doctors and pre-test, is properly sanitized and maintained Experience with electronic health records / Compulink program knowledge helpful Proficient computer and internet skills / Verify patient insurance benefits Familiar with various Medical and Vision insurances, including co-pays and deductibles Must have strong communication and pleasant customer service skills Experience with answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting patients Consult with opticians and Doctor / Cross-train to assist with other office duties High level of accuracy and be able to work independently Personable, professional, presentable and detail oriented / Organized and have superior time management Minimum 1 year of experience desired / Hourly rate commensurate to level of experience No experience? willing to train if you are eager and have a desire to learn Benefits package includes: Life Insurance, Tele-Medicine Health, and more.
