Job Description
As an Optometric Technician, you'll play a key role in the patient experience—helping ensure each visit is smooth, efficient, and personal.
Responsibilities include:
Performing pre-testing and patient work-ups (visual acuities, medical history, chief complaint) Assisting with diagnostic testing (auto-refraction, tonometry, retinal imaging, visual fields, etc.) Preparing patients for exams and supporting the doctor during visits Educating patients on contact lens insertion/removal and basic eye care Cross-training in optical (ordering, adjusting, and repairing glasses) Scheduling appointments, answering phones, and verifying insurance benefits Supporting day-to-day clinic flow with flexibility and teamwork What We're Looking For A genuinely friendly, patient-focused personality Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems A team player who is dependable and adaptable Previous healthcare or optometry experience is a plus—but not requiredPay:
