Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Advance your career through a rewarding contract opportunity focused on high-quality surgical care. This position requires expertise in both Operating Room Registered Nursing and Certified Surgical Technology, offering the chance to work alongside dedicated surgical professionals in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Schedule:
Start date: 06/08/2026 through 09/05/2026
Shift:
6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday On-call requirement: 2-3 days per week, with on-call responsibilities every other weekend
Qualifications:
Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility High School diploma required Current NBSTSA (CST) certification for Surgical Technologists Valid and active BLS certification Minimum of two years' experience in an operating room setting (RN or CST) Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in high-stress surgical environments
Responsibilities:
Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care activities in the operating room Prepare the operating room with necessary surgical instruments and equipment Act as a vital team member during surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and patient safety protocols Support the surgical team by anticipating needs throughout various cases Maintain accurate documentation and uphold facility policies regarding infection control and patient confidentiality Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergency surgery requests This role offers the opportunity to further enhance your clinical skills, gain valuable OR experience, and contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes.
