Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Seeking dedicated and experienced professionals skilled in both Operating Room Registered Nursing and Certified Surgical Technology for an exciting contract opportunity. Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM On call 2-3 days per week, including every other weekend

Qualifications:

Current RN license or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) designation through NBSTSA High school diploma required Current BLS certification Minimum two years of operating room experience, working as either circulating RN or certified scrub tech Ability to take on-call shifts as outlined Must live at least 100 miles away

Key Responsibilities:

Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical procedures, maintaining sterile technique Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative team members Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and instruments for each case Uphold strict infection control and patient safety standards throughout procedures Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the medical record Monitor and communicate patient status, ensuring timely response to any changes Participate in on-call rotations to provide essential coverage
