Schedule:

Full-time contract role 6:34 AM - 5:15 PM, offering extended daytime shifts

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Current, unrestricted RN license Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care operating room setting Current BLS and ACLS certification Strong knowledge of sterile technique, infection control, and perioperative procedures Ability to circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical specialties is highly desirable Excellent communication and collaboration skills Adaptability in fast-paced or rapidly changing surgical environments

Role Responsibilities:

Provide direct preoperative and intraoperative nursing care to surgical patients Demonstrate competency in circulating or scrubbing for surgical cases from simple to complex procedures Prepare, assess, and maintain the surgical environment, ensuring strict adherence to aseptic technique Monitor patient status and respond rapidly to changes in condition or emergent situations Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other multidisciplinary team members Document interventions, medications, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly Maintain compliance with facility policies and the highest standards of patient safety This position supports a collaborative surgical team and offers exposure to advanced procedures in a rewarding environment.
