Plans and coordines work efforts, assigns responsibilities and tasks to Section employees, reviews work, resolves employee issues, selects new employees, sets performance standards, and evalues performance. Communices with the Operions Project Manager, Project supervisors and District managers, public officials and other representives of Project customers to identify and clarify Project and Section customers and their requirements. Serves as a program manager for the development, direction and execution of several Project programs. Participes with Project supervisors in developing and directing the Recapitalizion Program. Serves as manager and facilitor of a program involving several business lines, five different funding sources, a project area 100 miles long, and a multi-million dollar annual budget. Degree:

Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in engineering. To be acceptable, the program must: (1) lead to a bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in a school of engineering with least one program accredited by the Accredition Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET); OR (2) include differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a) stics, dynamics; (b) strength of merials (stress-strain relionships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nure and properties of merials (reling particle and aggrege structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, he transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics. • Current registrion as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any Ste, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.

Absent other means of qualifying under this standard, those applicants who achieved such registrion by means other than written test (e.g., Ste grandfher or eminence provisions) are eligible only for positions th are within or closely reled to the specialty field of their registrion. Specialized Experience:
