Oral Surgery Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and review of symptoms
• Provide patient education on preventive care, treatment options, and medication management
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in electronic health records
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
• Comply with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Experience in digital radiography, oral surgery, dental assisting, or other relevant specialties is preferred
• Proficient in performing vital signs measurements and interpreting results
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-based healthcare setting
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
