Oral Surgery Manager Dental Arts Group (DAG) Company Overview Dental Arts Group (DAG) is a dynamic and rapidly expanding multi-location dental practice dedicated to creating happiness through beautiful, healthy smiles. Position Overview Dental Arts Group is seeking an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented Oral Surgery Manager to lead and oversee our oral surgery departments across multiple locations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, delivering exceptional patient experiences, supporting clinical teams, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and practice standards throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong dental or healthcare management experience who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered, multi-site environment and is comfortable traveling between offices as needed. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations of oral surgery departments across multiple practice locations Travel between offices to support providers, teams, operational consistency, and patient experience initiatives Ensure seamless coordination and communication between surgeons, clinical teams, and administrative leadership across all locations Manage team scheduling, staffing, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance evaluations Support providers and clinical staff to maintain productivity, efficiency, and a positive workplace culture Monitor department performance metrics, patient satisfaction, and operational goals across all offices Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, supply management, and resource allocation to support practice profitability Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control protocols, and all applicable healthcare regulations at every location Maintain accurate patient records and documentation utilizing EMR/EHR systems including Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or similar platforms Handle patient concerns and escalations professionally while maintaining high service standards Assist with recruiting, employee relations, conflict resolution, and staff development initiatives Implement operational improvements and standardize workflows across multiple offices to maximize efficiency and consistency Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives and department expansion opportunities Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of dental or healthcare office management experience, preferably in oral surgery or a specialty practice Proven experience managing multiple locations or overseeing teams across multiple offices preferred Ability and willingness to travel regularly between practice locations Strong leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced clinical environment Experience with dental and healthcare software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or other EMR/EHR platforms Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control protocols Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and operational management Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and maintain professionalism under pressure Experience in oral surgery, periodontal, or specialty dental practice management strongly preferred Positive attitude with a passion for patient care and team development Why Join Dental Arts Group?
