Danfoss is seeking an Orders Support Representative to join the Danfoss team. This position is responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurately processed, fulfilled, and delivered on time. Success in this role is measured by accuracy, on‑time delivery performance, and clear, proactive communication with both customers and internal teams. What You'll Be Doing Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Accurately process customer orders and ensure items are picked, packed, and shipped on schedule. Coordinate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to resolve inventory shortages, capacity issues, or shipment delays. Maintain accurate order records by updating order status, shipment details, and documentation in ERP and transportation systems. Communicate order status, delays, and recovery plans to internal stakeholders and customers in a timely and professional manner. Participate in and support customer calls by providing plant status updates, shipment estimated arrival times, and issue resolution plans. Prepare for and lead quarterly business review meetings with customers, presenting performance metrics such as on‑time delivery, lead time, fill rate, and defects or returns.
Travel:
Minimal. Occasional domestic travel may be required for customer meetings or site visits (estimated <10%).
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent manufacturing or fulfillment experience (typically 3-5+ years). Experience with order fulfillment processes, including order entry, shipping coordination, and inventory management. Proficiency using ERP or order management systems in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Prior involvement in customer scorecards, service metrics, or business reviews. Experience collaborating across multiple functions in a fast‑paced, operations‑driven organization.
Job Criteria:
Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and reliable reporting. Clear and professional communication skills for customer‑facing discussions and internal coordination. Effective time‑management and prioritization skills to balance multiple orders and deadlines. Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to address disruptions calmly and efficiently. Comfort working with computer systems, including ERP platforms and Microsoft Office tools. Collaborative work style, with the ability to partner closely with warehouse, logistics, production, quality, and customer service teams. Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally walk warehouse or production areas as needed.
