Order Picker/Packer

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Duties Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick and verify customer orders based on shipping labels and order sheets Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse Pack items securely using appropriate materials handling techniques to prevent damage during transit Load and unload shipments efficiently, ensuring proper stacking and organization of products in compliance with OSHA safety standards Assist with shipping and receiving processes by preparing shipments, verifying inventory accuracy, and maintaining detailed records Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize order picking routes and improve overall workflow efficiency Conduct regular safety checks on equipment like heavy machinery and ensure adherence to all safety protocols Experience Prior experience in warehouse distribution or materials handling is highly preferred Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners is a plus Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, or pallet jacks is desirable Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation Mechanical aptitude or construction background can be advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues Previous roles involving order picking, shipping & receiving, or load & unload activities demonstrate readiness for this position Warehouse supervisor experience or leadership skills are beneficial for potential advancement opportunities Join us to be part of a fast-paced environment where your skills make a tangible impact! $20.49 - $24.50 per hour
