Order Selector

Order Selector Job Description We are seeking an experienced Order Selector with experience operating reach trucks and order selectors . In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, staging, and preparing orders for shipment. The position requires the use of RF scanners and the safe operation of industrial equipment, including forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks, to move and manage building product materials within and outside the Distribution Center. Key Responsibilities Pick, stage, and prepare orders for outbound shipping Receive, store, load, and distribute building product materials Safely operate propane and electric-powered industrial trucks, including reach trucks and forklifts Lift, stack, tier, and move products and materials as required Load materials onto trucks and secure products using straps Put away incoming building products and replenish inventory Empty containers of product Perform standard warehouse duties, including loading, unloading, order picking, and inventory management Essential Skills 3-5 years of experience as an Order Selector and Reach Truck Operator Proficiency with reach truck forklifts, sit-down, and counterbalance equipment Experience using RF scanners Ability to safely lift at least 50 lbs Additional Skills & Qualifications (Preferred) Experience with warehouse inventory control and packing Ability to work efficiently in shipping and receiving environments Why Work Here? This position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) , with occasional overtime opportunities. You'll contribute directly to the efficient distribution of building products to construction company customers while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Work Environment The facility is located in Perryman, Maryland , and operates two divisions—one that ships to other distribution centers and another that ships directly to construction company customers. The environment is fast-paced and requires frequent use of industrial trucks and warehouse equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Perryman, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
