Jun 8, 2026 Job Description Intermediate District 287 is looking for Orientation and Mobility Specialists for openings this summer with Itinerant Services! Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K-12, as well as transition age students (18-22 years old), from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs, primarily focused on setting IV special education, that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Salary Schedule A:

$37.53 - $69.19 per hour (depending on experience and education) This is a temporary position for Summer ESY programs only Hours will follow a flexible calendar based on individual student and district needs from June through August

Requirements:

Interested in candidates who are: diverse, bilingual, or have experience working with diverse populations Bachelor's degree in orientation and mobility from an accredited college or university Advanced degree in orientation and mobility is preferred Licensed by the Minnesota Department of Education in orientation and mobility An additional license in vision impairment is preferred National Certification from Association for Education and Rehabilitation of Blind/Visually Impaired (AER) Valid Minnesota driver's license is required View the Job Classification
