We are looking for a certified dental assistant for Mondays 9-5, Tuesdays 8-5, Wednesdays 9-5 and Thursdays 11-7 to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the orthodontist in various procedures. Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques. Manage medical documentation and patient records accurately within our systems. Take X-rays and perform medical imaging as needed to support treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Support pediatric patients through their treatment process, ensuring a comfortable experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, following all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to enhance patient experience and office efficiency. Requirements Previous experience in dental assisting, preferably in an orthodontic setting. Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques to assist effectively during procedures. Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable. Ability to perform X-ray imaging in compliance with safety regulations. Strong communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively. Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and professionalism.
