• Part-time Busy orthodontic practice is seeking organized, friendly, self-motivated individual for our part-time Orthodontic Assistant position.

Position will be about 25-30 hours/week. Job duties for the successful candidate will include: Greet and seat patients Set up instruments Properly disinfect chair Sterilize instruments Untie and retie patients Insert appliances Review post-op instructions as specified by orthodontist Relay treatment information to parent/family member Take 3D scans with Itero Fit and cement bands Take x-rays (pan, ceph) Take diagnostic photographs Input x-rays and photographs into patient chart Maintain chairs by properly flushing the lines and air syringe units Clean clinic area nightly (trash, mop floors, disinfect and sterilize all instruments, disinfect chairs and any non-critical items in clinic area) We are seeking someone who works well in a fast-paced environment. Looking for excellent communication skills and someone who is detail oriented and self-motivated.

ORTHODONTIC OR DENTAL ASSISTING EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED.

Will train the right candidate with long term orientation. Compensation based on experience.

Education required:
