Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, where your expertise will help create confident smiles and improve patients' oral health. In this energetic role, you will support the orthodontist by providing exceptional chairside assistance, managing patient care, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming environment that prioritizes patient comfort and safety. This 4 Day Work Week position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding setting dedicated to excellence in orthodontic care, and Responsibilities Providing a warm, energetic, positive atmosphere and excellent customer service is the primary task. Being an amazing coworker is second. For daily tasks, you will assist during procedures such as bracket placement, wire adjustments, and appliance fittings, lab scans, and labratory procedures with precision and efficiency. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Provide patient education on orthodontic treatments, oral hygiene practices, and post-procedure care to foster understanding and compliance. Manage dental records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Take and develop dental X-rays and medical imaging, while maintaining strict infection control protocols. Support the dental reception team by scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and managing patient flow to optimize clinic productivity. Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for all procedures. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
