Job Description
Orthopedic group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (BC/BE) Orthopedic General and Sports Surgeon to join our established, multi-specialty practice in South Florida. This dual-focus role requires an individual capable of managing a high-volume clinical caseload consisting of general orthopedic trauma, and fracture care, alongside a specialized sports medicine practice utilizing advanced, minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques.
Key Responsibilities Clinical & Surgical Excellence:
Diagnose, manage, and treat a diverse patient population presenting with acute trauma, fractures, degenerative joint diseases, and complex athletic injuries.Dual-Scope Procedures:
Perform a wide mix of surgeries including arthroscopic shoulder/knee repairs (ACL, meniscus, rotator cuff), and fracture fixations (ORIF).Collaborative Care:
Design, monitor, and adapt customized, non-operative rehabilitation pathways in direct coordination with our on-site physical therapy and exercise physiology teams.Continuum of Care:
Oversee complete patient care cycles, including comprehensive pre-operative evaluations, medical clearances, and meticulous post-operative follow-up milestones.Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain highly accurate, timely electronic medical records (EMR) while fully complying with Florida healthcare statutes, CMS guidelines, and HIPAA regulations.Qualifications & Requirements Education:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.Residency:
Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited 5-year Orthopedic Surgery residency.Fellowship:
Completion of an accredited 1-year subspecialty fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine.Licensure:
Hold, or be eligible to obtain, an active, clean, and unrestricted Florida Medical License.Certification:
Board Certified or actively Board Eligible (BC/BE) by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS).What We Offer Built-In Volume:
