Plainfield, New Jersey Job Description As a Field Technician, you will support environmental drilling and remediation projects for a growing environmental services company. This role involves assisting field crews with drilling operations, remediation system installation and maintenance, equipment handling, and general site support activities. This is a hands-on, primarily outdoor position requiring mechanical aptitude, the ability to lift heavy materials, and willingness to work in varying weather conditions with overtime opportunities available.

Position Responsibilities:

Support environmental drilling and remediation activities at active project sites Assist with setup, operation, and breakdown of drilling and remediation equipment Perform general labor duties including material handling, hose management, and site preparation Operate hand and power tools in support of field operations Assist with remediation system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting Maintain and clean field equipment, tools, and work areas Follow all OSHA, site safety, and environmental compliance procedures Complete daily field reports and communicate with supervisors regarding site activities

Position Qualifications:

OSHA 40 HAZWOPER

certification required Mechanically inclined with experience using hand and power tools Prior construction, drilling, remediation, or environmental field experience preferred Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding outdoor work Valid driver's license preferred Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as project demands require

Pay Range:
