Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver and embark on exciting long-haul journeys across the country! In this vital role, you will operate tractor-trailers to transport freight efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries to various destinations. Your expertise in driving refrigerated trailers will help keep things running smoothly. This position offers the opportunity to develop your driving skills while enjoying the freedom of the open road and being part of a dedicated logistics team committed to excellence. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across long-distance routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo integrity and security Plan routes efficiently to optimize delivery times while managing compliance with hours-of-service regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure vehicle safety standards are met Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with federal regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and potential issues on the road Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery and route driving Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks with a strong understanding of vehicle controls and handling Skilled in load & unload procedures using forklifts or other equipment when necessary Knowledge of safety protocols related to freight transportation and vehicle operation Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan efficient routes over long distances Strong communication skills for coordination with dispatchers and clients Join us as an OTR Truck Driver and be part of a team that values safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
