Job Description
Outbound Material Handler (2nd Shift) - 22/hr
The Outbound Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that all orders are picked, consolidated, packed, and shipped in a timely and accurate manner. These tasks must be completed to an efficient and accurate standard to ensure smooth outbound operations. This position requires the use of our internal warehouse systems and various warehouse equipment, which may include Powered Industrial Trucks.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.1 year+ of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required

- Retrieve items from racking accurately and efficiently, using our handheld scanning devices and ERP system, completed on foot or using forklift equipment
- Sort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanning devices, preparing customer orders for shipment processing
- Pack products accurately and securely using our internal SPS system, focusing on providing an excellent customer experience
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following all established protocols and promoting safe working standards
- Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of work
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership.
- Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals
- Abide by all company and warehouse policies
- Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operationThe work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, order pickers, etc.
