Job Description
We are seeking Licensed Therapists to join our team at Heartland Wellness Center located in Lowell, Indiana. To be considered for this position a current Indiana state license:
LSW, LMHC-A, LCAC-A, LMFT-A, LCSW, LMHC, LCAC
is required. One year of experience is preferred, but willing to work with newly licensed clinicians.Functions and Activities of Direct Responsibility:
Therapists will work with clients throughout their treatment at Heartland Wellness Center. Therapists will meet with clients on a weekly, bi-weekly, or as-needed basis to coordinate care and meet mutually agreed upon goals. Therapists will be responsible for accurate, thorough, and timely documentation, included but not limited to Intake Assessments, Progress Notes, and Treatment Plans.Requirements:
Completion of a master's degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related field.Current Indiana state license:
LCSW, LMHC, LCAC, LMFT
(associate licensure considered) Successful completion of an internship in the field of counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or marriage and family therapy.Skills:
Establish positive, trusting, and compassionate rapport with clients. Diagnose and treat mental health and/or substance use disorders, in individual and group therapy sessions. Create individualized treatment plans according to the client's needs and circumstances. Complete necessary documentation within defined time frames. Meet with clients regularly to provide mental health treatment and review treatment plans at regular intervals. Conduct ongoing assessments of client progress. Involve and advise family members when appropriate. Maintain confidentiality of the client's information.Communications:
Maintains high-performance standards both inside and outside the organization in actions and communications. Works actively to increase awareness of Heartland Wellness Center in the community and to its members at various levels. Builds positive working relationships both internally and externally to achieve the individualized goals of all clients.Planning and Organization:
Supports organizational leadership to ensure that the mission of Heartland Wellness Center is fulfilled through programs, strategic planning, and community outreach.Job Types:
