Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking a driven, self-motivated Outside Sales Representative who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in helping both customers and the company succeed. This role is ideal for someone who is competitive, relationship-focused, and committed to representing Mangum's business model with clarity, consistency, and professionalism. What You Bring
  • Experience in outside sales (transportation industry preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-driven mindset with a desire to grow business opportunities
  • Ability to understand, adopt, and clearly communicate Mangum's business model
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and mobile tools
  • Knowledge of the local construction or transportation market is a plus Core Responsibilities
  • Actively develop new business through consistent in-person customer visits
  • Clearly communicate Mangum's approach, capabilities, and value to prospective customers
  • Strengthen and grow relationships with existing accounts
  • Identify opportunities to expand services within current customers
  • Collaborate with operations and inside sales teams Customer Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for Mangum's services and processes
  • Set clear expectations with customers
  • Assist with onboarding new accounts
  • Maintain a professional presence Operations & Support
  • Work closely with internal teams
  • Demonstrate knowledge of transportation regulations
  • Support company goals and initiatives
  • Assist with resolving issues Day-to-Day Expectations
  • Stay active in the field with regular visits to customers
  • Develop a deeper understanding of Mangum's business model
  • Communicate Mangum's services confidently
  • Follow up on leads
  • Maintain strong communication with management
  • Monitor account activity and performance
  • Assist with account reviews and collections
