Job Description

Job Overview Must have sales experience in building material with clients and contractors. You will need to have your clients that are willing to move with you. Base pay with commission and expenses paid. Paid health insurance and dental for candidates. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside Building Salesman for hardware and building materials to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our customer base and increasing sales of high-quality building materials. Your enthusiasm for customer service and sales will help foster strong relationships with contractors, builders, and homeowners alike. Responsibilities Engage with customers on-site and in the field to understand their building material needs and provide expert guidance. Promote and sell a wide range of building products, including lumber, roofing, siding, and other construction materials. Develop new client relationships while maintaining excellent service with existing customers to ensure repeat business. Assist customers in selecting appropriate products based on project specifications, budget, and timeline. Coordinate deliveries and ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders to support project schedules. Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels. Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitors to continually enhance sales strategies. Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that builds trust and loyalty. Proven sales ability with a proactive approach to reaching targets and expanding market share. Excellent communication skills to clearly explain product features and benefits to diverse clients. Knowledge of building materials, construction processes, or related industry experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the drive to succeed in a competitive environment. Pay:
$47,742.15 - $57,495.93 per year
