Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end. Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits to customers. Maintain store merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented. Assist with inventory management through stocking and merchandising tasks to keep the sales area inviting and organized. Use strong communication skills to promote upselling opportunities and inform customers about ongoing promotions or new products. Experience Prior cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Supervising experience is a plus, especially in overseeing team members during overnight shifts. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, and basic cashiering procedures is beneficial. Strong communication skills, phone etiquette, and customer service orientation are essential for success in this role.
