The Overhaul Welder IV is expected to interpret complex drawings, welding procedures, and engineering requirements and to make sound technical decisions to resolve weld‑related challenges without compromising quality or safety. They must be proficient welding in all positions and adaptable to varied and challenging work environments. Work may be performed on the manufacturing shop floor, in engine test cells, disassembly areas, or other active work environments.
