Overhead Door Installer

About us G&F Professional Services is a small family-owned business without the formalities of a big corporation. Our installers have fast paced jobs at a variety of locations with the privilege of being out of doors most days. We are looking for an experienced Overhead Door Installer to join our team. The main responsibilities will involve installing and servicing residential and commercial overhead doors and openers at homes, businesses and farms. The ideal candidate should be faithful, safety-oriented, willing to work with other team members or independently, have integrity, good problem-solving skills, attention to details and quality work, a great customer service attitude, and proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Experience with overhead door installation is required. The ability to daily lift heavy objects safely is a requirement. There is travel time to different locations daily with a variety of challenges along with the satisfaction of seeing a good job completed.

Responsibilities:

Faithfully and punctually show up ready for work Monday thru Friday with occasional Saturdays. No standard quit time. Install overhead doors and openers. Service overhead doors and openers. Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Follow safety protocols. Good communication with team and customers.

Physical Requirements:

Come to G&F office at agreed upon time to complete an in-person application. Be able to stand for several hours a day and work efficiently. Be able to work outside in all weather conditions year around. Be able to safely climb ladders and be in a scissors lift. Be able to safely lift between 20 and 100 pounds without issues. No drug or alcohol use is permitted prior to or on the job.

$26.00 - $28.00 per hour
