Owner-Operator Grounds Maintenance Contractor (Seasonal)

Position Overview JE Brick Homes, Inc. is seeking a reliable Owner-Operator Grounds Maintenance Contractor to perform routine and seasonal grounds maintenance services at Ball Mountain Lake and Winhall Brook Camping Area , federally managed recreation and flood control facilities operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). This opportunity is ideal for an independent landscaper or small landscaping company seeking predictable seasonal work at federal recreation facilities. Contractors must provide their own commercial landscaping equipment and transportation.

Work Locations:

Ball Mountain Lake Designated service areas include: Area A - Fine mowing and trimming Area B - Rough mowing and trimming Facility-adjacent lawn areas Access roads and mapped maintenance areas Winhall Brook Camping Area Service areas include: Campground lawn areas Picnic table locations Additional mapped areas identified in the contract Key Responsibilities The contractor will perform scheduled and seasonal grounds maintenance including: Fine lawn mowing and trimming in designated Area A locations Rough mowing and trimming in designated Area B locations Spring clean-up activities including debris removal and grounds policing Aeration of designated turf areas as specified in the contract Picnic table relocation and seasonal site setup activities Operation of commercial landscaping equipment including: Zero-turn mowers String trimmers Aerators Leaf blowers Hand tools Maintain safe, clean, and professional work areas Follow USACE environmental and operational requirements Track hours and services performed for reporting and invoicing Report site conditions or scope issues to JE Brick Homes promptly Contractors may not store equipment on federal property .

Approximately 4-6 hours , depending on conditions. Pay:
